BACKGROUND

Brett Lorie teaches a variety of math classes at Joaquin Moraga Intermediate School. This year he is teaching Accelerated and Common Core 6th grade math. He graduated with his B.A. from Boston University in 1995 and his Teaching Credential in Mathematics and Master’s of Education from UC Berkeley in 1999. Currently in his 26th year of teaching, he has taken an active role in the development of several courses at JM and has previously presented at the Northern California Math Council's Annual Conference.
